BARC’s activities started in Ghent, Belgium where the company is still headquartered. Since becoming part of Cerba HealthCare in 2007, BARC also offers central lab services in an additional location in Europe at the group's main reference lab, Laboratoire Cerba in Paris, France.
Both labs are highly automated and each facility has its own technical expertise and testing platforms. Our lab in Ghent has extensive capabilities in flow cytometry, molecular diagnostics and microbiology. Laboratoire Cerba has a historical strength in virology and oncology, routinely running a very broad range of nearly 2,200 esoteric tests.
BARC runs a global operation with identical processes across all its facilities, including a global quality manual and SOPs ensuring a seamless management of your clinical trial whilst maintaining the highest service level.
