BARC has provided flow cytometric analysis since 1992 and has extensive expertise in this rapidly growing field :

  • Use of 6–, 8- and 10-channels for optimal testing and cost efficiency
  • Fully integrated workflow management system with bidirectional inter-face with the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
  • Possibility to exchange original data files and a history of analysis for additional interpretations
  • Daily quality control with stabilized control samples
  • Custom made reagent packs for trial specific testing panels
  • Trucount ® Technology is applied to increase accuracy of cell population count
  • Apoptotic markers (e.g. 7-AAD+) to monitor sample quality for dying/dead cells

In addition, BARC developed a specific expertise in cell sorting, e.g. the isolation of CD138+ malignant plasma cells for multiple myeloma trials, using MACS® technology by Myltenyi Biotech.
