Facilities

All BARC laboratories across the globe can offer routine testing services related to virology and microbiology. BARC offers a wide range of services associated with serology, molecular screening and mass spect for bacterial identification. Our centres of excellence, all of which have P3 facilities are :

• BARC USA is one of the largest virology labs in our network, with specialties including HIV, respiratory viruses, rhino virus, corona virus, etc. Also in the field of influenza BARC has acquired invaluable expertise over many years running these short but high volume trials for various sponsors.
• BARC South Africa: In the Southern hemisphere we offer the largest PCR facility in our lab in Johannesburg including extensive expertise in various diseases such as TB and HIV. 
• Laboratoire Cerba offers a wealth of expertise through the acquisition of the clinical pathology division of the Institut Pasteur.
